Hi Amanda! :) I'm posting this message as a comment because, for some reason, my email isn't working...
I ran across your blog the other day- I'm a CalArts hopeful wishing to be accepted in the spring- and I just wanted to tell you how encouraged I was by your failures and your truimphs! I feel like I know you, in a weird way, because our passions lie in the same direction- becoming an animator at Disney (also, we have the same name!! Crazy.). :) If you have any pearls of wisdom that you wouldnn't mid passing on, I would treasure them more than you know!!
Keep up the good work- have a great summer- and thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me to feel like I'm not the only one who fears not being good enough of an artist to be accepted to CalArts. It really means a lot- hopefully I'll see you on campus one day! :)
