Sorry to ask this on an unrelated post but I'm a calarts hopeful and came across your blog. I've looked at your 2009 and 2010 portfolio that you submitted to calarts. And not to be insulting but I was greatly impressed by the improvement between the two. I was wondering what did you do to improve between your 2009 and 2010 portfolio?

To answer your question to the best of my ability- I drew. I drew like mad! I drew all the time. I started drawing close to three times a week for life and animal drawing. I carried a sketchbook around with me everywhere and drew every second I could- lunch time, dinner time, breaks, even in the car.
